Goodwill Solutions Learning Academy CIC

Goodwill Solutions Learning Academy CIC is an approved training provider for the Department for Work and Pensions, a Main Apprenticeship training provider for the Education & Skills Funding Agency, a registered Training Centre for NVQ’s and pre-employment and is on the NHS list of approved Apprenticeship training organisations.

Since 2016 the Learning Academy has been managing a partnership of 12 organisations across the county to deliver a Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities programme that is successfully supporting 1,000 learners to gain the skills they need. With Police Officers and County Council Early years teams based on its premises it is also developing a hub with these and other stakeholders.

Wellingborough Prison re-build – the existing prison is being knocked down and rebuilt with an opening date of 2021. We are providing pre-employment training and support to help disadvantaged groups be better skilled and ready for employment. This includes some business start up support
Ex-Offender Initiatives – we provide a range of support, training and development programmes to support high level ex-offenders into work and to rebuild their lives

Hemmingwell Skills Centre (Wellingborough) – we engage with local residents to help upskill them and provide access to employment opportunities
