Hot Food and Clothing

Most day centres have some element of open access, and many combine this with more structured support particularly focusing on homeless individuals but also supporting those with chaotic and unstable accommodation.

Day centres open welcome restbite and access to vital services which may include things like: hot breakfast and lunch, showers, laundry, clothing, a quiet room, hairdressing, GPs, mental health care, a mental health team, podiatrist, optician, pastoral care, befriending. They also often provide advice on how to access: night shelters, hostels, benefits, identification documents, form filling, debt counselling, entitlements, finding appropriate help.

Midland Langar Seva Society - Hot Food and Clothes

A mobile Sikh kitchen serves free hot meals to homeless people. Types of food on offer inlcude Curry and Rice, Chips, Coffee, Tea, Biscuits, Cakes and Fruit. They also give out free clothing, hats, scarfs and gloves (Depending on donations)

Eligibility: To purchase clothes- everyone and free clothing on a referral from Bromford Support

 

Provision Details:

Clothes store at the Hope Centre, open to everyone.  Open Monday to Friday 11:30am to 1:30pm.  Telephone number 01604 214300.  If you are a Bromford Support Customer please speak to your advisor.  Everyone else please attend at open times stated.
