Musical Inclusion Programme - Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust

NMPAT provides music-making activities for children and young people across Northamptonshire.

Our Musical Inclusion Programme specialises in supporting children and young people in challenging circumstances including vulnerable young people at risk of offending.

We offer a range of music mentoring services with activities tailored to the interests and needs of the young people involved. These range from learning to play an instrument, song-writing, and using music technology etc. Genres of music on offer include pop and rock as well as urban styles such as Hip-Hop and Grime.

Our projects track three outcome areas: music, personal and social. These are designed to help young people get the most of the activities as well as develop their personal and social skills through a creative involvement in music-making.
