Wellingborough Mind

Hardly anyone expects to go through life without experiencing physical problems, from colds to serious illnesses, and in the same way almost everyone faces challenges to their mental well being and these can range from short periods of stress caused by life events to longer lasting conditions.

Whether you are experiencing mental health problems or going through a difficult time in your life, we can help. Our aim is to help you live the best life you can, whatever challenges you face. We do this by offering one to one support, well-being courses, social groups and counselling.

Pathways Covered

Our counselling service can help you explore your situation or any difficulties that you may be experiencing in a safe and confidential environment. Counselling is protected time for you and your counsellor to work together on areas of your life that are causing you concern or are feeling out of balance. Our experienced team of counsellors are able to offer you up to 20 sessions of counselling.

There are many reasons why someone may choose to engage in the counselling process, some of the common reasons that people access counselling are:

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Confidence and Self Esteem

  • Eating disorders

  • LGBT issues

  • Loss and Bereavement
