Hardly anyone expects to go through life without experiencing physical problems, from colds to serious illnesses, and in the same way almost everyone faces challenges to their mental well being and these can range from short periods of stress caused by life events to longer lasting conditions.

Whether you are experiencing mental health problems or going through a difficult time in your life, we can help. Our aim is to help you live the best life you can, whatever challenges you face. We do this by offering one to one support, well-being courses, social groups and counselling.

Overview

COUNSELLING SERVICE


Our counselling service can help you explore your situation or any difficulties that you may be experiencing in a safe and confidential environment. Counselling is protected time for you and your counsellor to work together on areas of your life that are causing you concern or are feeling out of balance. Our experienced team of counsellors are able to offer you up to 20 sessions of counselling.


There are many reasons why someone may choose to engage in the counselling process, some of the common reasons that people access counselling are:



  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Confidence and Self Esteem

  • Eating disorders

  • LGBT issues

  • Loss and Bereavement

  • Relationships

  • Trauma and Abuse

  • Work based issues


Charges


We offer a FREE initial consultation where the counselling process will be fully explained to you. Sessions are held weekly and cost £35 per session for qualified counsellors and £20 for Student counsellors, payable in cash on the day of your session.




What we do

Wellingborough Mind offers information, advice and support to those with mental health issues. Our services can be accessed by those aged 17.5yrs and above. Overview

Crisis Cafe


Join us at one of our drop in cafes. Ran by an NHFT mental health professional and a MIND peer support worker, they provide support and safety to anyone in need by offering coping mechanisms and management techniques to help reduce the risk of crisis. As well as offering support, professionals can also refer and direct you to further services if required.


Who is this service for?Crisis Cafés are available for anyone 18 years old or over who are finding themselves in a crisis or need support with their mental health.
